The story

Introduction

The day is done, the stars begin to twinkle, and a quiet hush falls over everything. Just like Jason and Jessica, you're snuggled warm in bed, ready for a tale from long, long ago. Tonight, we journey back to a time when a great leader named Moshe guided his people through the desert. They faced big challenges, with a vast sea in front and an army behind them. How could they ever cross? This story reminds us that even when things seem impossible, there's always a way, and someone watching over us. Get cozy and let's discover the secret path.

Snuggled In for a Story

Now, are you all snuggled in tight? Good! Because our story today is about a very special secret path, one that nobody thought could ever exist. Imagine little Jason, with his favorite blue blanket, and his sister Jessica, hugging her cuddly bunny, both tucked into their warm beds. Their eyes were wide with wonder, ready for an adventure that would take them far, far away, back in time, to a land of sandy deserts and sparkling blue water. This wasn't just any story. This was about brave people long, long ago, when the world was different, but hearts were just the same. Hearts that sometimes felt scared, and sometimes very brave. Jason wiggled his toes, picturing himself an explorer, while Jessica patted her bunny, imagining a gentle breeze. Their grown-up began, "Once upon a time, far across the big, wide ocean, lived a special group of people. They were on a long journey, looking for a new home. Can you imagine walking for many days and nights, searching for a whole new land to live in forever?" "These people were called the Israelites, and they had a very wise leader named Moshe. Moshe had an important job: to help them find their way. But their journey was tricky, like a maze. And then, one day, their path seemed to end. Right in front of them was the biggest, bluest sea you could ever imagine, stretching out further than their eyes could see. And behind them? Oh dear, behind them was a big, rumbling, chasing army! It looked like there was nowhere to go." "How do you think they felt? A little worried, maybe even a lot! It was a really, really big problem. But this is where our secret path comes in. This is where we learn how even the biggest problems can have the most surprising solutions, especially when someone mighty and kind is watching over you. So, snuggle closer, and let's journey together to that sparkling sea and discover what happened next."

A Big Walk in the Desert

Now, imagine something really, really big. Bigger than your house. Bigger than your whole street! Imagine a whole lot of people, not just a few, but so many people that if they all stood in your favorite park, there wouldn't be any room left for the swings! And then imagine them filling another park, and another park! All of them were leaving a place where things had been very, very difficult, a place where they weren't allowed to be truly happy or free. They were starting a super-duper long journey. It wasn't a journey in a car, or on a train, or even on a big airplane. Oh no, this was a journey on their very own feet! Step by tiny step, little foot after little foot, they began to walk. Day after day, with their bags on their backs and hope in their hearts, they set out on this grand adventure. The little children, like Jason and Jessica, held their parents’ hands, sometimes skipping, sometimes dragging their feet, wondering what amazing things they would see next.

Oh No! The Sea and the Army!

And so, day after day turned into week after week. The big walk continued. The sun shone bright and warm above them. Sometimes, the children would spot a little lizard scurrying across a warm rock. Sometimes, they would see a little bird flying high in the big blue sky. They kept walking, their little feet growing stronger with every step. Their eyes kept looking forward, wondering what new and exciting things they might discover on their journey. They carried their hopes and their dreams in their hearts, hoping to find a brand new, wonderful place to call home, a place where they could be truly free and happy. Their journey was long, oh so very long, but their spirits were still bright, like tiny, sparkling stars in the night sky. They walked and walked, through dusty paths and over small hills, always following their leader, Moshe. Moshe was a very special person. He listened very carefully to Elohim, and Elohim told him just what to do, and where to go. So, the people trusted Moshe, and they followed him on this amazing, grand adventure. They knew that Elohim was with them, watching over them like a kind and loving parent, guiding them every single step of the way. And so, they kept walking, little foot after little foot, always moving forward. They were so brave, all of them! The grown-ups, the big kids, and even the littlest ones like Jason and Jessica, who sometimes rode on their parents’ strong shoulders, getting a special bird's-eye view of the world. What an incredible journey it was becoming! They had seen so many new sights, felt so many different kinds of breezes, and heard so many new sounds. The air smelled different from their old home, sometimes like dry dust, sometimes like sweet desert flowers. They felt the strong sun on their cheeks during the day and snuggled together to keep warm under the cool, starry sky at night. Every single day was a new adventure, a new part of their amazing story. And then, one morning, after walking and walking and walking, something very, very exciting appeared in the distance. It was a sight they had never seen before on this journey. Far, far away, on the edge of the world, a thin, shimmering line of blue appeared. A tiny, tiny stripe of beautiful, sparkling blue. It looked like a ribbon laid out across the horizon. As they walked closer, and closer, and closer, that tiny blue line grew bigger. And bigger! And bigger still! It stretched out, wider than their eyes could see, reflecting the bright, morning sunshine like a giant, happy mirror. Oh, what could it be? The children gasped with wonder! The grown-ups pointed and whispered. Their steps grew a little faster now, with a new energy, a new excitement bubbling up inside them. They just had to see what this amazing blue thing was! And soon, oh so very soon, they reached it. And what do you think it was, little listeners? Yes! It was the big, wide, beautiful, incredible sea! The Red Sea! Oh, how magnificent it was! It stretched out before them, a giant, sparkling blanket of deep blue water. Wave after wave rolled gently to the shore, making a soft, whispery, shushing sound. Shush, shush, shush, went the waves. It was so big! So very, very big! An endless, amazing ocean of water, stretching out further than their eyes could possibly see. The air here felt different, too. It was cool and a little bit salty, like a gentle kiss from the ocean itself. What a marvelous, massive sight! The children ran a little faster now, eager to get closer to this incredible blue wonder. They imagined splashing their toes in the cool water, feeling the refreshing wetness after so much warm, dusty walking. They giggled and pointed at the little white foam bubbles that popped and disappeared at the edge of the water. But as they got closer, and stood right at the very edge, they realized something very, very important. This was not a tiny puddle they could just step over. This was not a small pond they could easily walk around. No, no, no! This was a giant, immense, incredible sea! And there was no way around it. No bridge to cross over, no boat to sail in, nothing but endless, beautiful, blue water stretching out as far as they could see, reaching the sky itself! They had walked all this way, and now, they were stopped. Completely stopped! The big, wide sea was right in front of them, a beautiful, blue wall of water that they could not pass. They looked at each other, their smiles slowly turning into worried frowns. What would they do now? They couldn't go forward! They were standing right at the edge of the big, wide sea! But then, just as they were trying to figure out what to do, just as they were getting used to the amazing sight and sound of the sea, something else began to rumble. A different kind of rumble. Not the gentle shush of the waves. No, this was a deep, thumping, shaking rumble. A rumble that came from *behind* them. The ground beneath their feet began to tremble, just a little at first, then more and more. It felt like a giant drum beating far, far away, getting closer and closer with every beat. Thump-thump-thump! The children stopped their excited wiggles. The grown-ups looked around with worried, wide eyes. What was that sound? It grew louder and louder. Clatter-clatter-clatter! And then, far, far away, through the dust that rose high into the sky like a giant brown curtain, they saw it. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! It was the king's army! The very same army they had just left behind, the king and his soldiers, now coming to chase them! Horse after horse, fast and strong, galloped across the desert, pulling big, noisy chariots. Chariots with spinning wheels and brave, strong soldiers holding their spears high. They were coming fast. So, so fast! The rumble of the ground turned into a loud, booming roar. The dust cloud grew bigger and bigger, like a giant, angry brown monster chasing after them! The people cried out, 'Oh no! Oh no! What will we do?' Their hearts began to beat very, very fast. They looked at the sea in front of them, all big and blue, and then they looked behind them, at the huge, fast-approaching army, making a cloud of dust. They were stuck! Trapped! With the giant, sparkling sea right in front of their toes, and the fast, rumbling army chasing them from behind! There was nowhere to go! No path to take! What an impossible, scary situation this was! The little children, like Jason and Jessica, held onto their parents' hands even tighter, their eyes wide with worry. The grown-ups looked at Moshe, their leader. What could he possibly do? They were caught between a giant blue wall of water and a fast, thundering army! It felt like they were in a big, big trap, with no way out. What do you think happened next, little listeners? What would you do if you were stuck between a giant, sparkling sea and a fast, rumbling army?

Moshe's Secret Listening Heart

Yes, they were truly, truly stuck! A giant, sparkling, splashing sea in front of them, so wide and deep it looked like a blue blanket stretched all the way to the sky. And behind them? Oh dear! The rumble got louder and louder. It was the fast, noisy army, with their clanking chariots and their stomping horses, getting closer and closer, like a big, scary storm cloud. The people of Elohim, with all their children and their little lambs and donkeys, looked around. Their faces were full of worry. They whispered to each other, "Oh no! What will we do? Where will we go? This looks like the end of our big adventure!" Some of the little children started to cry, and their parents tried to give them big, comforting hugs, but even the grown-ups felt a shiver of fear in their tummies.Imagine being there, little friends. Imagine looking at that huge, wavy sea, knowing you can’t swim across it with all your stuff, and then turning around to see a big, fast army getting ready to chase you. It would feel like your heart was beating like a tiny drum, wouldn’t it? The people felt very, very scared. They had been so happy to leave the land of Egypt, so excited for their new journey. But now, they started to wonder if it was a good idea after all. "Moshe!" they called out. "Moshe, what have you done? Was it better to stay in Egypt, even if it was hard? At least there we wouldn't be caught between the sea and an army!" They were very, very worried, and sometimes, when we are very worried, we say things that aren't very kind, don't we? They weren't angry at Moshe, not really. They were just so, so scared for their families and their future. But Moshe, their kind and gentle leader, was different. Even though he heard all the worries and saw all the scared faces, even though his own heart might have felt a little fluttery, Moshe knew something very, very special. He knew how to listen. But he didn't just listen with his ears, oh no. He knew how to listen with his heart. This was Moshe's secret listening heart. It was a very quiet, very special way of hearing, a way that let him talk to Elohim, who loved them all so much.Do you know what it means to listen with your heart, little explorers? It’s not like listening to your mommy or daddy talk, or listening to a bird sing, or listening to the rain pitter-patter on the window. Listening with your heart means being very, very still inside. It means closing your eyes, maybe, and taking a big, quiet breath. It means thinking about Elohim, who made the sunshine and the stars, and knowing that Elohim is always, always listening to you. And sometimes, when you are very, very quiet, and you listen with your heart, you can feel a warm, gentle whisper inside. It’s not a sound you hear with your ears, but a feeling of knowing, a feeling of peace, a feeling that everything will be okay. That’s how Moshe listened. He had practiced listening with his heart for a very, very long time. So, while everyone else was busy worrying and calling out, Moshe did something very simple, but very, very powerful. He turned away from the noisy army and the big, splashy sea. He turned his face towards the sky, but he didn't shout. He didn't even open his mouth to speak a loud word. Instead, he just closed his eyes for a moment. He took a big, deep breath. And he listened with his secret listening heart. He talked to Elohim inside his mind, inside his heart. He wasn't asking "What will we do?" like the people were. He was saying, "Elohim, my loving Elohim, I know You are here. I know You see us. What do You want us to do now? Show us Your way." He just waited, quietly, with trust filling his secret listening heart. And guess what happened? As Moshe listened with his heart, a warm, soft feeling started to fill him up, like sunshine spreading through a little cloud. It was Elohim's answer! It wasn't a booming voice from the sky, or a giant flash of lightning. It was a gentle, clear knowing inside Moshe’s heart. Elohim wasn't worried at all! Elohim knew exactly what to do. The message in Moshe's heart was simple and strong. It was like a little voice inside him saying, "Moshe, why are you asking me? Tell the people to go forward! Don't be afraid. Just tell them to move. I will show you the way."Moshe’s eyes popped open! He looked at the giant sea in front of them, and then back at the worried faces of the people, and then he looked up at the sky again, with a tiny smile beginning to grow on his face. "Forward?" he might have thought. "But the sea is right there! How can we go forward?" But because he trusted Elohim's secret whisper, because he listened with his heart, he knew it was the right thing to do. He turned to the people, his voice calm and strong, even though the army was getting closer and closer and closer. "Don't be afraid!" he told them. "Elohim will fight for us! You just wait and see! Elohim has a wonderful plan, a wonderful surprise! We are not stuck. We are not trapped. We are going to go... forward!"The people looked at Moshe, then at the sea, then back at Moshe. "Forward? Into the water?" they wondered. It seemed like a very, very strange thing to say. How could they go forward when a giant wall of sparkling, salty water was right there, stretching out as far as they could see? But Moshe’s face was glowing with a special kind of bravery. It was the bravery that comes from knowing Elohim is right there with you, always. He lifted his hand, the very same hand that had held his special shepherd's staff. He wasn't just telling them with his mouth; he was showing them with his whole heart. "Elohim says, 'Go forward!'" he said again, his voice echoing across the shore, louder than the rumbling army, louder than the crashing waves.Moshe then lifted his special staff, the one he used to tap rocks for water and do other amazing things with Elohim’s help. He lifted it high, high into the air, pointing it right towards the giant, sparkling, blue sea. It was a simple stick, just wood, but in Moshe’s hand, because he was listening to Elohim with his secret listening heart, it became a very, very powerful stick. It was like he was holding a magic wand, ready to do something truly, truly incredible. What do you think would happen, little friends, if someone stood in front of a giant sea and held up a stick, because Elohim told them to go forward? What amazing thing could possibly happen next? You’ll never guess!

The Amazing Water Path!

Oh, my goodness, little adventurers! You are absolutely right! Something truly, truly amazing was about to happen. Moshe stood there, holding his special stick, and he looked at the giant, sparkling sea. He took a deep, deep breath, just like you might before you jump into a big, warm swimming pool, and then, because Elohim told him to, Moshe stretched out his hand over the water. And guess what, little dreamers? It wasn’t a tiny splash, or a little ripple, or even a big wave crashing. Oh no, it was something much, much bigger! Something that made everyone gasp with wide, wondering eyes. Slowly, slowly, as Moshe stretched his hand, the water in the giant sea began to move. It didn't just gently sway from side to side like water in a bathtub. No, this was different. The water began to pull back, as if a giant, invisible hand was gently pushing it away. Can you imagine that? The enormous sea, pulling itself apart! It was like when you take your hands and push them apart in your bathwater, but a million, million times bigger! The water on one side started to rise up, up, up, into a shimmering, sparkling wall! And the water on the other side? It did the exact same thing! Up, up, up it went, until there were two magnificent, wobbly, watery walls standing tall on either side of where the sea used to be. Oh, what a sight that must have been! Imagine standing in front of two giant, glistening walls, made entirely of water! They sparkled in the sunshine, catching all the colors of the rainbow. Little fish might have been swimming inside those walls, looking out at the dry land with their big, round eyes, wondering what on earth was happening! "Swish-swash!" they might have said, as they found themselves in a brand new, watery home, temporarily suspended in Elohim's incredible creation. And in between these two magnificent, sparkling walls of water, what do you think appeared? Was it more water? Was it sticky mud? No, no, no! It was a path! A dry, sandy path! A path that looked just like the ground you walk on in a park or on a playground. It wasn't wet, it wasn't squishy. It was dry! As dry as your comfy carpet in your bedroom right now! Elohim, the powerful, wonderful Elohim, had made a secret path right through the middle of the giant sea! It was a path just for His special people, so they could walk across safely, away from any danger. Isn't that the most incredible thing you've ever heard? A secret path, made just by Elohim, right through the middle of the sea! The people, the grown-ups and the children, and all their animals, they looked at the amazing water path with their mouths open wide. Some of the littlest children might have pointed with their tiny fingers and said, "Look, mama, look! The water is standing up like a giant fence!" And their mamas would have hugged them tight, maybe with happy tears in their eyes, because they knew it was Elohim taking care of them. The great big cloud, the one that was shaped like a giant, fluffy marshmallow during the day, now moved forward, very gently, to show them the way. It moved right to the edge of the new, dry path, as if saying, "Come on, little friends! This way! Follow me!" And at night, remember the pillar of fire? It glowed brightly, showing them every single step of the way, making sure no one stumbled in the dark. So, with Moshe leading the way, and the great cloud showing them where to go, the people began to walk. They walked onto the dry path, right between those two amazing, tall walls of water. Can you imagine taking your first step onto a path that was just moments ago covered by a whole ocean? It must have felt a little bit like magic, but it was even better than magic because it was real and it was Elohim's love! Maybe some of the children wanted to reach out and touch the water walls. "Can I touch the water, papa?" they might have asked. And their papa might have smiled and said, "Let's keep our hands safe, little one, and just look at Elohim's amazing work! This is a precious, once-in-a-lifetime sight that Elohim has given us." Because even though the walls were made of water, they were held up by Elohim's mighty, mighty power, keeping everyone super safe. They walked and walked, a long line of people, with their sheep, and their goats, and their little donkeys, all treading softly on the dry ground. The sun might have shone down, making the water walls shimmer like a million tiny diamonds, catching every sparkle. Or maybe the moon shone down, making them glow with a soft, gentle light, like two giant, friendly guardians watching over them. Either way, it was a sight to behold! It wasn't a scary path, even though it was so unusual. No, Elohim made sure it felt safe and peaceful. The water walls didn't crash down, not even a tiny bit. They stood perfectly still, strong and steady, because Elohim was holding them there. It was like Elohim was saying, "Don't worry, my little ones! I've made this path just for you, and I will keep it safe until you are all the way across!" Think about it, little friends. If you were walking on that path, what would you see? You'd see the smooth, dry ground under your feet. You'd see the tall, tall walls of water on both sides, sparkling and clear. Maybe you'd even see some pretty seashells or smooth, colorful stones on the bottom of the sea bed, now visible for the very first time! Oh, what treasures might have been hiding there! And what would you feel? You'd feel the gentle breeze, perhaps, knowing that Elohim was watching over you. You'd feel the warmth of your mama or papa's hand, holding yours tight. And most of all, you'd feel a big, warm hug in your heart, knowing that Elohim loved you so much that He made a way where there was no way. He made a road right through the middle of the sea! The people kept walking, one foot in front of the other, step by step, across the amazing water path. They knew they were safe because Elohim was with them every single moment, protecting them with His mighty hand. They knew they were loved because Elohim had shown them such a wonderful, powerful sign of His care. It was a journey that no one would ever, ever forget. And what about those grumpy soldiers and their big chariots? Oh, they were watching from the other side. They saw the water part! They saw the people walking on the dry ground! They must have blinked their eyes and rubbed them, thinking, "Am I seeing things? Is that really a path through the sea? This is impossible!" They were so surprised, they couldn't believe their eyes, yet the truth was right there before them. But Elohim's plan was perfect. He made the path for His people, and His people only. He was going to make sure they were completely safe, far away from any worries or troubles. The journey across the sea was long, but every step was filled with wonder and the knowledge that Elohim was protecting them. Imagine being a little boy or girl on that path. You might look up at the towering water walls and whisper, "Wow!" You might skip a little step, feeling the dry sand beneath your tiny shoes. You might hold onto your teddy bear or a favorite blanket extra tight, feeling cozy and secure, knowing that the biggest, most powerful friend in the whole wide world was looking after you. This amazing water path wasn't just a way to get from one side to the other. It was a big, beautiful lesson from Elohim. It was Elohim showing everyone, "Look! I can do anything! I love my children, and I will always, always make a way for them, even when it seems absolutely impossible, because my love is bigger than any sea!" The sun began to set, painting the sky with colors of orange and pink and purple, and still, the people walked. The pillar of fire would soon glow even brighter, guiding them through the night. And those magnificent water walls? They stayed up, strong and steady, holding back the entire ocean, all because Elohim commanded it. It was a quiet journey in some ways, full of awe and wonder. The only sounds might have been the gentle padding of feet, the soft bleating of a sheep, or the quiet murmurs of parents reassuring their children. But in their hearts, there were songs of thanks and joy, knowing they were on Elohim's special, secret path. They weren't just walking across a sea; they were walking into a brand new future, guided by the loving hand of Elohim, towards a land of promise and peace. Each step was a step of faith, a step of trust, a step into the amazing plans Elohim had for them, plans filled with goodness and adventure. What an incredible adventure, right? A path through the sea, made just for them! It truly shows us how much Elohim cares, and how much power He has. He can make a path where there seems to be no path at all. And He does it all out of His wonderful, never-ending love for His children. The water walls stood tall, the path was dry, and the people kept walking, feeling safe and sound, heading towards their freedom. And that, little friends, is where we will leave them for now, taking their tiny steps on dry land, on a path no one had ever walked before. What an amazing journey!

Tiny Steps on Dry Land

Imagine, little friends, that you are there. You are part of that big, big family, walking right through the middle of the sea! Can you picture it? Close your eyes for a moment, and let's imagine together. The path beneath their feet wasn't muddy or squishy like a beach after the tide goes out. Oh no, it was firm and dry, like walking on a garden path in the sunshine. Each tiny foot, each big foot, stepped carefully, one after the other. Step, step, step. Little children, holding tight to their mamas' and papas' hands, looked up with wide, wondering eyes. "Mama," one little girl might have whispered, "is this a dream?" Her mama would squeeze her hand gently and say, "No, my darling, this is real. This is Elohim's amazing love helping us."Think about the water on either side. It wasn't just a puddle. Oh, goodness no! It was like two gigantic, shimmering blue walls, taller than any building you've ever seen, taller than the biggest trees in the forest! And through the water, if you looked very, very closely, you might have seen some of the sea creatures. Maybe a curious little fish, with sparkly scales, would swim right up to the wall, peeking out with one eye, wondering what all the commotion was about. "Whoosh!" it might bubble, as it swam away quickly, a little surprised to see so many people walking where usually only its fishy friends swam. And maybe, just maybe, a shy little crab, with its eight tiny legs, would scuttle sideways on the sea floor, inside the water wall, its beady eyes watching the parade of people. It would pinch its little claws together as if to say, "My goodness gracious! What is happening here today?" But the water stayed perfectly still, held up by Elohim's mighty, gentle hand. It didn't splash, it didn't sway. It just stood there, sparkling and clear, like two enormous, see-through blue mountains. The air in the middle of this path felt fresh and breezy, not wet and salty like you might expect. A gentle wind might have played with the children's hair, or rustled the clothes of the grown-ups. And as they walked, they could hear the soft sounds of thousands of footsteps, a gentle shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, as everyone moved forward. No one was running in a panic anymore. The fear had turned into wonder. The worry had turned into awe. They were safe. They knew it deep in their hearts.Imagine the little babies, tucked safely in their mothers' arms, or sometimes riding in a special sling. Their eyes might have been sleepy, or wide open, trying to take in the most incredible sight they would ever see, even if they wouldn't remember it when they grew up. But their mamas and papas would always tell them the story, over and over again, of the day Elohim made a path through the sea. Some of the older children, maybe just a bit bigger than you, might have tried to reach out a little hand towards the water wall, just to feel if it was real. But their parents would gently guide them along, reminding them, "Keep walking, little one. We have a special journey to complete." And they would skip a little, or hop a little, feeling the dry ground beneath their feet, feeling free.Think about all the animals too! Remember, Moshe didn't just lead the people; he led their sheep and their goats and their donkeys too. Imagine the sheep, with their fluffy white wool, baa-ing softly as they walked. They weren't used to walking on dry ground in the middle of the sea! Maybe a curious lamb would try to nibble at a tiny piece of seaweed caught on the water wall, only to find it couldn't quite reach. The donkeys, carrying special bags with food and supplies, would plod along steadily, their long ears twitching, listening to the gentle sounds of the people around them. Even the littlest chickens, clucking softly, were part of this amazing parade. It was a very, very long walk. It wasn't just a quick hop across a puddle. It was a journey that took many, many hours. The sun, which had been bright in the sky, slowly started to dip lower, painting the sky with colors of orange and pink and purple. And still, they walked. Step by step, everyone together, like a long, winding river of people and animals, flowing through the heart of the sea.And as they walked, they didn't just walk with their feet. Oh no. They walked with their hearts full of thanks. Can you imagine how special that felt? To know that the biggest, most powerful, most loving Elohim in the whole wide universe was taking care of them, making a way where there was no way? It filled their hearts with a warm, bubbly feeling, like sunshine spilling over a happy flower. They knew they were loved. They looked behind them sometimes, and they could still see the mighty walls of water stretching back, back, back to the shore they had left. And they looked ahead, and they could see the path stretching forward, forward, forward, until it met the other side, the new land that was waiting for them. It was like walking through a magical tunnel, but instead of walls of stone, it was walls of sparkling, clear blue water.Every now and then, a little child might have pointed a tiny finger at something in the water. "Look, Papa! A big, green plant!" or "Mama, is that a seashell way down there?" And their parents would nod and smile, filled with a quiet joy, knowing that Elohim was not just rescuing them, but showing them something truly wonderful along the way. It was a journey filled with awe and wonder, a journey that showed them just how big and how amazing Elohim's power truly is.They weren't just escaping. They were experiencing a miracle with every single step. Think about it. When you walk, your feet feel the ground, right? But imagine your feet feeling the dry, firm ground knowing that just inches away, on either side, were giant walls of ocean water, held perfectly still just for you. It's almost too incredible to imagine, isn't it? But it happened. It truly did.And as they walked, the air began to feel a little different. A little fresher, maybe a little more hopeful. The sounds around them were not just the shuffling of feet, but the quiet murmurs of grateful voices, the soft baa-ing of sheep, and the gentle clucking of chickens. It was like a symphony of thankful sounds, echoing softly between those amazing water walls. The children, with their boundless energy, might have played a quiet game of "follow the leader" as they walked, stepping exactly where their older siblings or parents stepped. Or they might have made up little songs, quiet little hums, about the big blue walls and the dry path. Their imaginations were sparking, just like yours are now, thinking about this incredible journey. They carried everything they owned with them. Their pots and pans, their blankets, their simple clothes. It was a lot to carry for such a long walk. But no one complained. Not really. Because every step forward was a step towards freedom, a step towards safety, a step away from the worries and troubles they had left behind. And as they kept walking, with the sun now beginning to set and paint the sky in those beautiful, sleepy colors, they could start to see the faintest outline of the other side. A land that was new, a land that was waiting. It was still far away, but it was there, a promise shimmering in the distance. And with every step, that promise felt a little bit closer, a little bit more real. The little children, who might have been getting tired, would look up at their parents and see a new kind of light in their eyes. Not the light of fear, but the light of hope, the light of belief, the light of knowing that they were truly protected. And that light would make the children feel strong and brave, even when their little legs felt wobbly. They were a river of people, flowing through the heart of the sea, guided by an unseen hand, a hand so loving and so powerful. And with every tiny step on that dry land, they were living a story that would be told for thousands and thousands of years, a story about faith, about courage, and most of all, about Elohim's magnificent love for His children. They walked and walked, through the night now, under the twinkling stars. Imagine the stars, little friends, shining down from the dark, dark sky, twinkling like tiny diamonds, reflecting off the smooth, still walls of water on either side. It was like walking through a magical corridor, with the heavens above and the wonders of the sea beside them, all held safe by Elohim's amazing power. And so, they continued their journey, a journey of tiny steps on dry land, each step bringing them closer to a brand new morning, a brand new beginning. They kept walking, feeling safe and sound, heading towards their freedom, on a path no one had ever walked before. What an amazing journey indeed! And as they walked, they thought about how truly wonderful it was, to know that Elohim loved them so much, so very much, to make such an amazing path for them.

Safe and Sound on the Other Side

They walked and walked, little children holding hands with their mamas and papas, babies snuggled safely in their wraps, and older brothers and sisters helping their younger ones along. The path was still dry and firm beneath their feet, even though on either side, the huge, tall walls of water shimmered and sparkled in the faint light of the early morning. Can you imagine that? Walking right through the middle of the sea! It was like being in a secret tunnel, but instead of dark walls, they were made of sparkly blue water, with little fish probably wondering what on earth was going on! Whoosh! What's that big path doing here? the fish might have whispered to each other. And who are all these people walking on our seabed? Finally, oh, finally! After what felt like a very long walk, but a very safe walk, they saw it. A gentle slope, leading up and away from the dry sea path. It was the other side! A brand new shore, with soft sand and little pebbles, and maybe even some pretty seashells. A place where the land stretched out, far, far away, full of new adventures and new paths to explore.A big, happy sigh went through all the people. A collective, Phew! We made it! Little giggles burst out from the children, and parents hugged their little ones extra tight. They had done it! They had walked through the sea, just like Elohim had promised Moshe. Their hearts were probably doing happy dances inside their chests! They stepped onto the soft sand of the new shore. Each footstep felt like a tiny celebration. They looked up at the sky, which was now starting to glow with the most beautiful colors of a brand new sunrise. Pinks and oranges and soft purples painted the sky, just for them, as if Elohim was sending them a special good morning hug after their amazing journey. And then, something truly, truly wonderful happened. They all turned around, every single one of them, from the smallest baby in a mama's arms to the wisest grandpa with a long, flowing beard. They looked back at the incredible path they had just walked. The path through the sea, with its towering, wobbly walls of water. It was still there, a straight, dry road through the deep, deep ocean. But wait. What was that? Far, far behind them, on the other side of the sea, they could see the army of the king who had been so mean. The same army that had chased them, clanking and stomping, wanting to bring them back. And guess what? That army was just starting to step onto the dry path in the middle of the sea! They thought they could follow, they thought they could catch up.But Elohim had a different plan. Elohim knew that His people, the children of Israel, were now safe. They were on the other side, free and sound. And so, with a mighty, mighty whisper that only the sea could hear, Elohim gave a sign.Slowly, gently at first, and then with a magnificent whoosh, the towering walls of water began to move. Not back and forth like regular waves, but inwards. The water began to flow back, from both sides, towards the middle. It was like two gigantic, watery doors closing, but instead of a click, there was the sound of millions of gallons of water rushing together. The dry path, the one that Elohim had made so perfectly for His people, started to disappear. The sparkling, wobbly walls of water that had stood so tall and strong, melted back into the deep, blue sea. The sea became a sea again, just like it had always been, with waves gently rolling and little fish swimming happily, not knowing what a grand adventure had just happened right there! And the army of the mean king? Well, they were caught in the middle. The water rushed over them, and they couldn't follow the children of Israel anymore. Elohim had kept His promise. He had protected His people. He had made sure they were truly, completely safe from anyone who wanted to hurt them. Can you imagine the feeling? One moment, a scary army was chasing them, and the next, Elohim's mighty power had made them disappear, so His people could be free. It wasn't because the people were strong, or because they had special magic. No, it was all because of Elohim's incredible, never-ending love for them. He was their protector, their rescuer, their very best friend who always, always kept them safe. The children of Israel watched, their eyes wide with wonder, as the sea returned to normal. A calm, beautiful sea, stretching out as far as they could see. No more scary army. No more worries about being caught. Just peace, and quiet, and the feeling of absolute freedom. They clapped their hands, they sang happy songs, and they danced little jiggly dances on the soft sand. It was a celebration! A celebration of being safe and sound, a celebration of Elohim's amazing power, and a celebration of a brand new beginning. They were truly, truly free. And as they celebrated, they understood something very, very important in their hearts. They understood that Elohim loved them. Not just a little bit, but with a love bigger than the biggest ocean, stronger than the tallest mountain, and brighter than the morning sun. A love that would always find a way, even when there seemed to be no way at all. This wasn't just a story they would tell their children and their grandchildren. This was something they had seen with their own eyes, felt with their own feet on the dry path, and felt in their own hearts as they watched the sea close behind them. Elohim was real. Elohim was powerful. And Elohim cared for them, each and every one, more than they could ever imagine. Now, as they looked out at the wide, open land before them, they knew their journey wasn't over. Oh no, it was just beginning! But they weren't scared anymore. They had seen what Elohim could do. They knew that no matter what challenges came next, no matter what new paths they had to walk, Elohim would be right there with them, guiding them, protecting them, and loving them every step of the way.It was a feeling of such deep peace and happiness. Like when you're tucked into your warm bed at night, after a day of playing and laughing, and you know you're safe and loved. That's how the children of Israel felt on that brand new morning, on the other side of the sea. They had started their day feeling scared, with a big, mean army chasing them. They had walked through a path in the sea that no one had ever seen. And now, as the sun climbed higher in the sky, they were free. They were safe. And their hearts were full of thanks and happy wonder. Can you imagine being one of those little children? Maybe a little boy named David, holding his mama's hand, looking back at the sea, and then up at the bright, blue sky. Or a little girl named Miriam, skipping on the soft sand, so excited for all the new adventures that lay ahead. They were all there, every single one of them, safe and sound, because of Elohim's amazing love. This story teaches us something very special, doesn't it? It teaches us that even when things seem impossible, even when we feel a little bit scared, Elohim is always, always there. He has big plans, wonderful plans, to keep us safe and to guide us through everything. Just like He made a dry path through the sea, He can make a path for us too, in our own lives, whenever we need it.He helps us feel brave when we're a little bit shy. He helps us find solutions when problems seem too big. And He always, always reminds us that His love is a powerful, protective hug that surrounds us, no matter what. So, as the children of Israel stood on that new shore, with the sea behind them and a whole new world in front of them, they knew they were truly blessed. They knew they were part of something incredibly special. A journey of faith, a journey of freedom, and a journey filled with Elohim's wonderful, never-ending care. They spent that day marveling at their freedom, resting from their long journey, and sharing stories of the incredible adventure they had just experienced. The little ones tried to draw pictures in the sand of the tall water walls, giggling as they remembered the fish peeking out. The grown-ups smiled, their hearts filled with gratitude. Every single person felt a deep sense of peace that they hadn't felt in a very, very long time. They were finally, truly, safe and sound. And they knew, deep down in their hearts, that this safety, this freedom, this brand new beginning, was a precious gift from their loving Elohim. A gift that showed them just how much He cared. A story they would carry in their hearts, always.

Elohim's Always-There Love

Jason and Jessica snuggled even closer, their eyes wide with wonder. Imagine that! A whole path right through the middle of the big, big sea. A path made just for them, just for Elohim's special people. It was like magic, wasn't it? But it wasn't magic tricks like in a show. Oh no. It was something much, much bigger. It was the power of Elohim, showing His incredible, amazing love. When we hear stories like this, it helps us think about how much Elohim loves us, too. Not just the people long, long ago who walked through the sea. No, Elohim's love isn't just for people in old stories. It’s for you, and it’s for me, and it’s for everyone, all the time. It’s like a super special, invisible hug that’s always there, wrapping around us, keeping us safe and warm.Think about it, sweet friends. Elohim made the sunshine that tickles your nose in the morning and helps the flowers grow big and bright. He made the yummy apples and crunchy carrots and sweet, juicy strawberries that help you grow strong. He even made the fluffy clouds that float by like giant cotton balls, and the gentle rain that helps everything drink and sparkle. Each one of those things is a little whisper from Elohim, saying, "I love you! I love you! I love you so much!"Do you remember when you felt really happy? Maybe when you were playing with your favorite toy, or laughing with your brother or sister, or getting a big, warm hug from Mommy or Daddy? Those happy feelings, that cozy, safe feeling, that's Elohim's love too! He wants us to be happy and to feel loved. He paints beautiful sunsets in the sky with reds and oranges and purples, just for us to ooh and aah at. He makes soft, comfy beds for us to sleep in, so we can rest and dream sweet dreams.Sometimes, when you're playing outside, maybe a little ladybug lands right on your finger. Or a busy little ant marches across your path. Or you hear a little bird singing a beautiful song high up in a tree. Guess who made all those tiny, wonderful creatures? Elohim did! He thought about every little detail, every little stripe on the ladybug, every little chirp from the bird. And He made them all, because He loves to make beautiful, amazing things for us to enjoy. It's like He's saying, "Look at all these wonders! They are a gift from Me to you!"Jason remembered a time he had lost his favorite blue dinosaur. He had looked everywhere! Under the bed, behind the curtains, even in the toy box where he thought it would be. He was starting to feel a little bit sad, his bottom lip was starting to wobble. Then, Mommy came in, and she helped him look again. And guess what? There it was! Hiding right under a pile of books. Jason had scooped up his blue dinosaur with a big happy cheer, and Mommy had given him a hug. Even in that moment, when he felt a little sad and then super happy, Elohim was there. He was helping Mommy know just where to look, and He was there in Jason's happy sigh of relief.Jessica thought about her favorite blanket, the one with the soft, fuzzy edges. When she snuggled with it at night, it felt so warm and safe, like a gentle hug. She knew her mommy and daddy loved her very much, and they had given her that blanket. But now, she understood that even the feeling of safety and warmth that her blanket gave her, that special cozy feeling, was like a tiny echo of Elohim’s even bigger, warmer love. Elohim gives us our families, and our homes, and our soft blankets, and all the things that make us feel loved and secure. He truly is the best gift-giver ever! You see, Elohim's love isn't just for big, dramatic moments like parting a whole sea. It’s also for the quiet moments, the everyday moments, the moments we might not even notice right away. It’s in the yummy food on your plate, in the laughter with your friends, in the gentle breeze that blows through the trees, in the colors of a rainbow after the rain. It's like a soft, invisible thread woven into every single part of your life. It's always there, always present, always ready to comfort and make you smile.Imagine Elohim's love is like a giant, soft, fluffy cloud that floats over the whole wide world. And from that cloud, little drops of love rain down on everyone, everywhere. Some drops are sunshine, some are giggles, some are yummy snacks, some are sleepy time snuggles. And each drop is filled with care and kindness, especially for you. When you feel a little worried, or a little scared, or even a little bit grumpy, remember that Elohim's love is still there. It doesn’t go away. It’s not like a toy you can lose or a game that ends. It’s constant. It’s forever. It’s like the sun that always comes up in the morning, even if there are clouds in the sky. The sun is still there, shining brightly, even if we can't see it for a little while. And Elohim's love is always there, even if we don't always feel it in that exact moment. So, how can we remember Elohim's always-there love? Well, one way is to look around you. Look at the sky, look at the trees, look at the little insects buzzing by. Each one is a tiny masterpiece made with love. Another way is to think about the good things that happen every day. A friendly smile from a grown-up, a yummy cookie, a fun game. Those are all little gifts of love. And you can also simply talk to Elohim in your heart. You don't need fancy words. You can just say, "Thank you, Elohim, for my warm bed," or "Thank you for my family," or even "Please help me feel happy." He hears you. He always hears you, because He loves you more than words can say. Just like a loving parent always listens to their child, Elohim always listens to you, His precious child. The story of the sea parting for Moshe and the people, it was a very, very big way for Elohim to show His love. It was a loud, clear message that said, "I am here! I will protect you! I will guide you!" And even though we might not see a big sea part for us today, Elohim is still protecting us and guiding us in so many other ways. He helps us learn new things at school, He helps us be kind to our friends, He helps us make good choices. Every day is filled with little bits of His amazing, always-there love.Think about it like a very special, secret code. Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, you can find little clues of Elohim's love. A fluffy cat purring on your lap, a juicy piece of fruit, the sound of your favorite song. These are all like little heart emojis from Elohim, sent just for you. He wants you to know how special you are to Him.Jason yawned a little yawn, a happy, sleepy yawn. He thought about his blue dinosaur, safe and sound in his bed beside him. And he thought about the big sea, and how it had opened up. He knew now that even when things seemed scary or impossible, Elohim was there, ready to help. And that made his heart feel very, very peaceful.Jessica snuggled deeper under her soft blanket. She imagined Elohim's love as a warm, sparkly light that filled her whole room, making everything feel safe and cozy. She knew she wasn't alone, not ever. Elohim was always watching over her, always loving her, always making sure she was okay. It was a beautiful, comforting thought. This incredible love, this always-there love, is the very best kind of love. It’s not like a toy that can break, or a snack that gets eaten up. It’s always full, always new, always there for you. Just like the stars are always in the sky, even if we can't see them during the day, Elohim's love is always shining for you, day and night. And when you feel that love, that warm, fuzzy feeling in your heart, it helps you feel brave. It helps you feel happy. It helps you feel ready for wonderful adventures, knowing that Elohim is right there with you, every step of the way. What an amazing friend to have! A friend who can part the sea, and who also cares about your lost dinosaur, and your soft blanket, and every single little thing that makes you, well, you.So tonight, as you drift off to sleep, remember this wonderful truth. Elohim's love is always there. It’s like a gentle song playing just for you, a song that reminds you how precious and special you are. You are loved, truly, deeply, and always. And that feeling, that feeling of being so completely loved, is the best feeling in the whole wide world. It fills your heart with warmth and peace. Now, sometimes, to really feel that love, we need to do something very special. We need to listen with our hearts. Not just with our ears, but with that quiet, gentle part of us that feels and knows things that our ears can't always hear. This quiet listening helps us notice those tiny whispers of love, those little clues that Elohim sends our way every single day. So, as you close your eyes and get ready for sweet dreams, let’s think about how we can listen with our hearts first, and really feel Elohim’s amazing love all around us.

Listening with Your Heart First

Okay, let's dive into what "listening with your heart" truly means. It's such a wonderful, magical idea, isn't it? When we listen with our ears, we hear sounds, like a bird singing, or a friendly giggle, or a grown-up reading a story. But when we listen with our hearts, we hear something different. We hear feelings. We hear quiet whispers of love, and kindness, and truth that are too soft for our ears to catch.Imagine your heart is like a super-special, super-soft pillow inside you. And this pillow can feel things! It can feel when you're happy, and when you're a little bit sad, and especially when you feel loved. When Elohim sends us his love, it's not usually with a big loud shout, is it? No, his love often feels like a warm hug, or a gentle light, or that happy tingle you get when you see something beautiful, like a rainbow after the rain.Let's play a game in our minds to help us understand. Close your eyes for a moment, just for a second, and imagine you have a little, invisible, sparkly antenna on top of your head. This antenna isn't for picking up TV shows or radio songs. Oh no! This is a special "love antenna" for your heart. And it's always wiggling and jiggling, trying to find all the tiny little signals of love that are floating around you all the time. So, when your mommy or daddy gives you a big, squeeze-y hug, your ears hear the hug, maybe a little sigh of happiness. But your heart's love antenna picks up the feeling of that hug. It feels the warmth, the safety, the deep love, and it sends a happy sparkle all through your body. That's your heart listening!Or, imagine you see a friend at the park who looks a little bit lonely, sitting all by themselves. Your eyes see your friend. But your heart, with its super-sensitive love antenna, feels a little tug. It's a gentle feeling that says, "Maybe they need a friend right now. Maybe they need someone to play with." And then, because your heart listened, you walk over and say, "Hi! Do you want to play with my ball?" And when your friend smiles a big happy smile, your heart gets another happy sparkle! That's your heart listening to Elohim's gentle nudge to be kind.Sometimes, listening with your heart means being quiet. It means taking a moment to just be. Like when you're sitting in your garden and you see a tiny ladybug crawling on a leaf. Your ears might hear the leaves rustling a little. But your heart feels the peacefulness of watching that little ladybug. It feels the wonder of tiny life, and the beauty of the world Elohim made. That quiet, calm feeling? That's your heart listening to the beauty and peace all around you.Remember Moshe, our friend from the story? When he stood by the big, big sea, and the scary army was coming, what did Elohim tell him to do? Elohim didn't shout, "Run away!" or "Fight them!" No, Elohim told him to lift up his staff. And Moshe, with his heart listening so carefully, understood that Elohim had a plan. He felt that deep trust in his heart, even though his eyes could only see a big, blue sea. His heart knew, "Elohim is here, Elohim will help us." And what happened? A huge, wonderful, dry path appeared right through the middle of the water! That was Elohim showing his amazing love and power, and Moshe's heart was ready to receive it.So, how can you practice listening with your heart every day? It’s not hard at all, and it's actually a lot of fun, because it makes you feel good inside.First, try to be quiet sometimes. Not a "shush" quiet, but a quiet inside your head. When you're playing, it's fun to make noise, of course! But sometimes, like when you're about to go to sleep, or when you're coloring a picture, or even when you're eating a yummy snack, try to just be quiet for a moment. Close your eyes and take a soft, deep breath. And just feel. What do you feel? Do you feel safe and warm in your bed? Do you feel happy about the yummy snack? Do you feel calm while you're coloring? Those are all your heart-feelings, telling you about the good things in your life. And guess who helps put all those good things there? Yes, Elohim does! He wants you to feel happy and safe and loved. Here's another way to listen with your heart. When you see someone doing something kind, or when you do something kind, pay attention to the feeling. Maybe you help your mommy pick up your toys. Your hands are busy, your ears might hear the toys clinking together. But inside your heart, there's a warm, happy feeling. It's a feeling of helpfulness, and of making your mommy happy. That warmth is your heart listening to the good deed. It's a little thank you from Elohim, saying, "That was a kind thing to do!"What if you see a beautiful flower growing in the grass? Your eyes see the bright colors, your nose might smell its sweet scent. But your heart feels something special too. It might feel wonder, or joy, or just a quiet appreciation for something so pretty. That feeling is your heart listening to the beauty of Elohim's creation, and it's a little reminder that he loves to make beautiful things for you to enjoy.Sometimes, listening with your heart can even help you make good choices. Have you ever felt that tiny little voice inside you, that quiet feeling that says, "Maybe I shouldn't push my brother," or "Maybe I should share my cookie"? That's your heart listening! It's listening to that special part of Elohim's love that helps us know what is right and good. It’s like a gentle guide, always there to help you choose kindness and goodness.Think about our friend, the little fish from the very beginning of our story. Remember how he listened to the wise old turtle? The turtle didn't shout at him, did he? He spoke with a quiet, gentle wisdom. And the little fish, when he really listened with his heart, understood what he needed to do to find his way. He trusted that gentle guidance. That's exactly how Elohim speaks to our hearts too. Not with loud commands, but with gentle feelings, good thoughts, and a quiet sense of peace when we are doing what is right. So tonight, as you snuggle deep into your blankets, close your eyes. Take a few slow, soft breaths. And try to listen with your heart. What does it feel? Does it feel the softness of your pillow? Does it feel the love of your family all around you? Does it feel safe and warm? All those good feelings, those gentle whispers in your heart, are little messages from Elohim. They are his way of saying, "I am here. I love you. You are safe."It’s a wonderful secret power, this listening with your heart. It helps us feel loved, it helps us be kind, and it helps us see all the amazing, gentle ways Elohim takes care of us every single day. And the more you practice, the better you become at hearing those gentle whispers, at feeling those warm hugs from Elohim, even when no one else is around. It’s a special connection, just between you and Elohim, through your wonderful, listening heart.

Elohim's Hugs for You Too

And guess what, little listener? That wonderful, warm, comforting hug from Elohim isn't just for grown-ups like Moshe, or for the people in the desert a long, long time ago. Oh no, it’s also for you! Yes, you, right where you are, snuggled in your bed, listening to this story. Elohim's hugs are just as real, just as warm, and just as special for you as they were for anyone else. They are like invisible, super-soft blankets made of sunshine and kindness, always ready to wrap around you. How can you feel these special hugs, you might wonder? Well, remember how we talked about listening with your heart? That’s the secret way! Your heart is like a super-duper special antenna, always ready to pick up those gentle feelings of care and love that Elohim sends your way. Sometimes, you feel Elohim’s hug when the sun shines bright and warm on your face in the morning, waking you up gently, like a soft kiss good morning. That warm light helps you stretch and get ready for a brand new day of playing and learning. Isn't that a lovely hug? Or maybe you feel it when you’re wrapped up cozy in your favorite blanket on a chilly night. That soft, fuzzy feeling, keeping you warm and safe, letting you know that everything is just right. It’s like Elohim is saying, "I've got you, little one. You are safe and sound." That feeling of being cozy and protected, that’s another one of Elohim's gentle hugs, reminding you that you are cared for. Do you remember how much you love your favorite yummy snack, maybe a crunchy apple or a sweet strawberry? Or perhaps a big bowl of your very best cereal in the morning? That happy, full feeling in your tummy, that burst of delicious taste on your tongue, and the energy it gives you to run and play – that’s a hug too! It’s Elohim making sure you have all the good things you need to grow big and strong and happy. Every bite of healthy food is a little message of love, saying "I want you to be healthy and full of joy!" Sometimes, Elohim’s hug feels like a gentle breeze on a warm afternoon, rustling the leaves in the trees and tickling your nose. It’s cool and refreshing, making you feel light and happy. It makes the kites fly high in the sky and the flowers dance a gentle jig. That soft wind is like an invisible hand, gently stroking your hair, reminding you of the beauty and wonder all around you. It’s a whisper that says, "Look at all the amazing things I've made for you to enjoy!" And what about those moments when someone you love, like your mommy or daddy, or a grandparent, or a big brother or sister, gives you a really big, squeeze-you-tight hug? You know, the kind of hug that makes you feel like the most loved person in the whole wide world? That feeling of warmth and safety and belonging? That’s Elohim’s hug too! Because Elohim put all that love inside their hearts, and when they share it with you, it’s like a direct delivery of Elohim’s very own love, especially for you. It’s a double hug, isn’t it? A hug from your loved one, and a hug from Elohim, all at the same time! Think about when you are playing with your friends, and someone shares their favorite toy with you, or helps you when you're feeling a little wobbly. Or when a friend says a kind word that makes you smile, especially if you were feeling a bit shy or sad. That spark of kindness, that moment of sharing, that helping hand – those are all little gifts of love, little tiny hugs from Elohim, showing up through the actions of your friends. Elohim helps people be kind to each other, and when they are kind to you, it’s another way to feel that wonderful care. It's like Elohim has a giant, never-ending supply of hugs, and these hugs come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes and feelings. Some are big and obvious, like a sunny day at the park. Others are quiet and gentle, like the soft glow of your nightlight keeping away the shadows. Some are noisy and fun, like a giggle shared with a friend. And some are calm and peaceful, like the feeling of falling asleep in your warm bed. Every time you feel safe, every time you feel loved, every time you feel happy, healthy, or peaceful, you are feeling a special hug from Elohim. It’s like a secret language that Elohim speaks, and your heart is learning how to understand it more and more each day. Just like Moshe listened with his heart to know which way to go, you can listen with your heart to feel Elohim's constant, gentle presence. You don't need to do anything special to earn these hugs. They are freely given, just because Elohim loves you so very much, exactly as you are. Just like the sun shines every day without asking anything in return, Elohim's love shines on you, all the time. It’s a promise, a guarantee, a wonderful truth that never changes. And these hugs are always there, even when things feel a little tricky. Maybe you had a tough day at school, or you felt a bit frustrated, or you missed someone. Even then, Elohim's hugs are still there, like a quiet comfort, a gentle assurance that things will be okay. Sometimes, the hug feels like a calming breath you take when you're feeling big feelings, helping you to feel a little bit better, a little bit steadier. It's like Elohim is right there, holding your hand, whispering, "It's alright, my dear one. I'm here." When you listen with your heart, you start to notice all these amazing ways Elohim is taking care of you. It's like having special glasses that help you see kindness, and special ears that help you hear love. You see the beautiful colors in a rainbow, and you remember that Elohim painted those colors just for you to enjoy. You hear the cheerful chirping of a bird outside your window, and you remember that Elohim made that bird sing its happy song. These are all little bits of love, little pieces of a giant, wonderful hug that surrounds your whole world. So, as you get ready to close your eyes tonight, think about all the amazing hugs Elohim sent you today. Maybe it was the warm water in your bath, or the soft pajamas you put on, or the taste of your dinner, or the sound of a loved one's voice reading you a story. Each one is a little reminder, a little present from Elohim, saying "I love you. I care for you. You are precious to me." And just like the Israelites felt safe walking on that dry path through the mighty sea, knowing Elohim was watching over them, you can feel safe and sound as you drift off to sleep tonight. Because Elohim's love is like that secret path – it’s always there, always protecting, always guiding, always full of warmth and comfort. It's a path that leads right to your heart, filling it with peace. Let that feeling of Elohim's hug wrap around you now, like the coziest, warmest, most wonderful blanket in the whole universe. It's a hug that stays with you all night long, keeping you safe in your dreams, and ready for a brand new day filled with even more of Elohim's loving care. You are so very loved, little one, by so many, and most of all, by Elohim. Close your eyes and feel that wonderful, gentle hug.
