The story
Once there were three little pigs. They were sweet little pigs. They loved to play games. They loved to sing songs. They loved to run around. Each little pig needed a house. A safe, warm house. The first little pig looked around. He found soft, dry straw. He said, "I will build a house!" He built a straw house. It was a yellow straw house. He stacked the straw high. He made a little door. He felt very cozy inside. He felt happy there. Then, a big, bad wolf came near. He saw the straw house. He sniffed the air. "Grrr!" The wolf knocked on the door. "Knock, knock, knock!" He said, "Little pig, little pig, let me in." The pig said, "No, no, no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" The wolf was very mad. He said, "I will huff! I will puff! I will blow your house down!" The wolf took a big breath. He huffed. He puffed. "Huff, puff, huff!" The straw house shook. It wiggled. It fell down! Poof! The first little pig was scared. He ran very fast. He ran to his brother's house. The second little pig looked around. He found strong, brown sticks. He said, "I will build a house!" He built a stick house. It was a brown stick house. He laid the sticks straight. He made a small window. He felt very safe inside. He felt good there. Then, the big, bad wolf came near. He saw the stick house. He sniffed the air. "Grrr!" The wolf knocked on the door. "Knock, knock, knock!" He said, "Little pig, little pig, let me in." The pigs said, "No, no, no, not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" The wolf was very mad. He said, "I will huff! I will puff! I will blow your house down!" The wolf took a big breath. He huffed. He puffed. "Huff, puff, huff!" The stick house shook. It rattled. It fell down! Crash! The two little pigs were scared. They ran very fast. They ran to their brother's house. The third little pig looked around. He found hard, red bricks. He said, "I will build a house!" He built a brick house. It was a strong brick house. He put the bricks tight. He made a big fireplace. Look! That chimney is tall. He felt very strong inside. He felt brave there. Then, the big, bad wolf came near. He saw the brick house. He huffed. He puffed. "Huff, puff, huff!" The brick house stood strong. It did not move. It did not fall. The wolf huffed and puffed again. "Huff, puff, huff!" Still, the house stayed up. The wolf huffed and puffed again. "Huff, puff, huff!" The house was so strong. The wolf was very tired. He was very hungry. He walked far away. The three little pigs were happy. They were safe inside. They played in the brick house. It was a good, strong house. The end.
