The story

Lily loves Lucky. Lucky is a big, big horse. Lucky has soft, brown fur. His fur is warm to touch. He has a white stripe on his nose. The stripe is long and white. Lily likes to pat Lucky's neck. She pats his soft, soft fur. She says, "Hello, Lucky." "You are kind." Lily said, "Go, Lucky, go!" This is a fun game. Lucky took a big step forward. Clip-clop, clip-clop went Lucky's feet. His strong feet went clip-clop. They walked on a little path. The path was next to green grass. The green grass was very tall. The sun was warm and bright today. Look up! The sky was big and blue. A tiny bird flew up high. Chirp-chirp, chirp-chirp, said the bird. The bird sang a little song. Lily looked up at the bird. It sat on a tree branch. Its feathers were bright blue. Lily said, "Go, Lucky, go!" Lucky liked to walk with Lily. His tail swished side to side. Clip-clop, clip-clop went Lucky. They saw a big green field. The field had many flowers. Lucky walked a bit more now. He saw a big, shiny puddle. The puddle held lots of water. Lucky went right into it! Splash, splash! Water went up, up, up! It went high into the air. Lily laughed a big, big laugh. Lily was so very happy then. Lucky liked the cool water. He splashed his feet more. Splash, splash went Lucky's feet. Lily said, "Go, Lucky, go!" Lucky smiled a horse smile. He had wet, wet feet now. His legs were all wet. They went by a very big tree. A pretty, pretty flower grew there. It was a red flower, so very red. Lily stopped to look at it. She pointed a small finger. "Pretty flower," Lily said. A busy bee buzzed nearby. Buzz, buzz, went the little bee. The bee flew to the red flower. Lucky ate some green grass. Munch, munch, munch went Lucky. He liked the sweet, green grass. His big teeth chewed and chewed. Then they walked back home. Lucky was a very good horse. Clip-clop, clip-clop went Lucky's feet. They came to the red barn. The red barn door was open wide. Lily gave Lucky a red apple. It was a sweet, crunchy apple. Lucky ate his apple fast. He made a happy sound. Lucky said, "Neigh!" He was happy for the sweet apple. Lily gave Lucky a big hug. She hugged his big neck. Lily said, "Go, Lucky, go!" They had such a good, good day. They will play again very soon. Yes, they will play again with Lucky.
