Introduction

Hello there, my lovely listeners! Are you ready for a truly enchanting tale today? One filled with brave knights, magical spells, and a beautiful princess who takes a very long nap! We're going to journey back to a time long ago, in a faraway land, where a wondrous story of Sleeping Beauty begins. Imagine a magnificent castle, grand and tall, with colourful banners fluttering in the breeze. Can you picture it? Our story starts right there, at the heart of a kingdom, waiting for you to discover its secrets.

The Royal Birth and the Wicked Curse

This kingdom was a lovely place, filled with happy people and green, rolling hills. But for all its beauty, the King and Queen, who lived in that grand castle, felt a little bit sad. What do you think made them sad? They loved each other very much, and they loved their kingdom, but they wished, more than anything, for a tiny little baby to fill their lives with even more joy. They wished and wished, year after year. They talked to wise old wizards and kindly witches, asking for help. They even wished upon the brightest star every single night. And then, one wonderful, magical day, their wish came true! The Queen had a baby! Not just any baby, but a beautiful, perfect baby girl, with rosy cheeks and tiny, delicate fingers.Oh, the whole kingdom rejoiced! The King lifted the baby up high, his heart bursting with pride. They named her Princess Aurora, which means 'dawn', because she brought a new, bright morning to their lives. Can you imagine the celebrations? Everyone was so happy! There were colourful flags flying from every tower and window. Cooks baked enormous cakes, big enough to share with all the villagers. Musicians played lively tunes, and jesters told funny jokes that made everyone laugh until their tummies hurt. It was the happiest day the kingdom had ever seen!To celebrate the birth of their precious Princess Aurora, the King and Queen decided to hold the grandest christening party ever. A christening is a special party where everyone meets the new baby and gives her blessings. They invited all the important people from their kingdom and neighbouring lands. But, most importantly, they invited seven good fairies. These weren't just any fairies; they were powerful, kind, and each had a special magical gift to bestow upon the baby princess.Imagine seven dazzling fairies, arriving in a swirl of sparkles and a whisper of stardust! Each one had a beautiful gown, shimmering with all the colours of the rainbow. Their wings twinkled like a thousand tiny diamonds. One by one, they stepped forward to give their gifts to little Princess Aurora, who was sleeping peacefully in her magnificent, silk-draped cot.The first fairy, with a dress the colour of a summer sky, waved her wand and said, 'My gift to you, sweet Princess, is beauty! You shall be the fairest maiden in all the land, with eyes as blue as cornflowers and hair like spun gold.' What a wonderful gift! Then came the second fairy, whose gown was a lovely shade of rose pink. She smiled gently and declared, 'My gift is grace! You shall move with the elegance of a swan, and every step you take will be as light as a feather.'The third fairy, dressed in a vibrant green, stepped up next. 'For you, little one,' she chirped, 'I bestow the gift of song! Your voice shall be as sweet as a nightingale's melody, enchanting all who hear it.'The fourth fairy, with a gown like a sunshine yellow, brought the gift of intelligence. 'You shall be wise,' she announced, 'clever and quick-witted, understanding all the secrets of the world.'The fifth fairy, shimmering in a deep violet, offered the gift of kindness. 'Your heart shall be pure and full of compassion,' she whispered, 'always ready to help those in need.'And the sixth fairy, in a gown of sparkling silver, gave Aurora the gift of a wonderful personality. 'You shall be charming and joyful,' she said, 'bringing happiness to everyone you meet.'Everyone was so delighted! Six amazing gifts had been given. Princess Aurora would be beautiful, graceful, musical, wise, kind, and charming. The seventh fairy, who wore a dress the colour of a deep, magical blue, was just about to step forward and give her special gift. What do you think her gift might be? Perhaps the gift of laughter? Or courage? Or maybe even a pet dragon? But just as she was about to speak, a sudden, cold wind swept through the grand hall! The magnificent oak doors burst open with a loud bang, making everyone jump! The colourful banners stopped fluttering, and the cheerful music died down to an uneasy silence. And there, standing in the doorway, was a tall, imposing figure. It was a wicked fairy, a truly dreadful one, named Maleficent. Her gown was as dark as a storm cloud, and she carried a staff topped with a glowing, green orb. Her face was stern, and her eyes glinted with fury. Why do you think Maleficent was so angry? Well, the King and Queen had forgotten to invite her to the christening! Oh dear, what a terrible oversight! They had invited seven good fairies, but not the powerful, mischievous Maleficent. And she was absolutely fuming! Can you imagine how cross she must have been? Her lips curled into a sneer as she strode into the room, her dark cloak swirling around her.'Well, well, well,' she hissed, her voice like ice. 'A christening, and I wasn't invited! How rude! Did you think I wouldn't find out?' The King and Queen looked at each other, their faces pale with fright. They knew Maleficent's temper was legendary.Maleficent glared at the innocent baby Aurora. 'Since you forgot to invite me,' she declared, her voice growing louder and more chilling, 'I shall give my own gift to your precious Princess!' Everyone gasped. The good fairies looked worried, fluttering their shimmering wings.Maleficent raised her staff high, and a strange, green glow filled the room. 'Listen well, King and Queen!' she boomed. 'On her sixteenth birthday, before the sun sets, Princess Aurora shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. And when she does, she shall fall into a deep, eternal sleep... a sleep from which she will never wake!' With a cruel laugh, Maleficent vanished in a puff of dark smoke, leaving behind a terrible silence and a cloud of fear.Oh, what a dreadful curse! The King and Queen were heartbroken. The Queen burst into tears, and the King held his baby girl tightly, wishing he could undo what had just happened. All the guests whispered nervously. But then, the seventh good fairy, the one who hadn't given her gift yet, stepped forward. Her face was serious, but her eyes held a spark of hope.'Do not despair, dear King and Queen!' she said, her voice gentle but firm. 'I cannot completely undo Maleficent's curse, for her magic is very strong. But I can soften it!'Everyone looked at her eagerly. What could she do? The seventh fairy raised her wand, and a soft, warm light enveloped baby Aurora. 'Sweet Princess Aurora,' she began, 'you shall indeed prick your finger on a spinning wheel spindle on your sixteenth birthday, and you shall fall into a deep sleep. But it will not be a sleep of death! Instead, it shall be a slumber that lasts for one hundred years.'A hundred years! That sounds like a very, very long time, doesn't it? But there was more to her gift.'And,' the good fairy continued, 'this enchanted sleep can only be broken by true love's kiss! A brave and handsome Prince will one day find you, awaken you with a kiss, and you will both live happily ever after!'A wave of relief swept through the hall. It wasn't perfect, but it was so much better than the original curse! The King and Queen, though still worried, felt a tiny glimmer of hope. They thanked the seventh fairy profusely. The King, determined to protect his beloved daughter, immediately issued a royal decree. A decree is a very important order that everyone in the kingdom must follow. What do you think his order was? He commanded that every single spinning wheel in the entire kingdom be gathered up and destroyed! Every single one, from the grandest castle room to the smallest village cottage. Imagine big bonfires where all the spinning wheels were carefully burned, piece by piece, so that no spindle could ever harm his precious Aurora. He wanted to make sure there was absolutely no way his daughter could ever prick her finger. The royal guards went from village to village, collecting every spinning wheel they could find. They loaded them onto carts and took them to the castle grounds, where they were broken into tiny pieces and burnt. The King thought that by removing every single spinning wheel, he could surely protect his daughter from Maleficent's wicked curse. And so, as Princess Aurora grew into a sweet and happy little girl, the kingdom lived with a mixture of hope and fear. They celebrated her birthdays, watched her play in the castle gardens, and everyone kept a careful eye out for anything that looked even remotely like a spinning wheel. But deep down, a secret worry lingered. Would the King's efforts be enough? Or would Maleficent's terrible curse, waiting patiently, one day come true? This brings us to the next part of our enchanting tale. What do you think happened as Aurora grew older? Did she find a spinning wheel? Did the curse come true? We'll find out next time, as we discover what happened during her first sixteen years and how she came to fall into that long, long slumber.

A Century of Slumber

My, oh my, what a question! Did the curse come true? Well, the three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, certainly tried their very best to protect the beautiful Princess Aurora. They knew all about the wicked fairy Maleficent’s terrible curse, that on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep as deep as the ocean, a sleep that would last for a hundred years! So, what did they do? Did they lock her away in the castle? Did they put up big signs saying, "No spinning wheels allowed!"? Not exactly. The fairies came up with a very clever plan, they thought. They decided to take baby Aurora far, far away, deep into the Whispering Woods, where no one would ever suspect she was a princess. They would live in a tiny, cosy cottage, just like ordinary country folk, and raise her themselves. They even changed their names and pretended to be three lovely aunties. No magic wands, no sparkly dresses, just plain old aprons and a little bit of fairy dust hidden away in their pockets for emergencies! They wanted Aurora to be safe and happy, growing up without a single worry about wicked fairies or pointy spinning wheels. And oh, what a lovely childhood Aurora had! She didn't know she was a princess, you see. She thought she was just a simple country girl, living with her three kind aunties. The Whispering Woods were her playground. She would wake up with the sun, birds singing sweet melodies outside her window, and spend her days chatting to the squirrels who stored their nuts in the old oak tree, or giggling with the fluffy-tailed rabbits that hopped through the wildflowers. The deer would let her stroke their soft noses, and the clever little foxes would share their secrets about where the juiciest berries grew. Every day was an adventure, full of sunshine and laughter. She learned to sing with the birds, her voice as sweet and clear as a mountain stream, and to dance with the butterflies, twirling and leaping through the meadows. Her aunties, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, watched her with such love in their eyes, hoping their plan would keep her safe forever. The years flew by like little sparrows on a breezy day. One year turned into two, then five, then ten. And before anyone quite realised it, a whole sixteen years had passed. Princess Aurora was no longer a tiny baby in a crib; she was a beautiful young lady, with hair the colour of sunshine and eyes as blue as a summer sky. Her sixteenth birthday arrived, bright and sunny, just like any other day. The three fairies were buzzing with excitement, thinking, "Hooray! We did it! The curse is broken! Aurora is safe!" They even planned a special little party for her, complete with a tiny birthday cake and a garland of wildflowers. But the wicked fairy Maleficent was far cleverer than they gave her credit for. She had been waiting, patiently, like a spider in its web. She knew exactly when Aurora's sixteenth birthday would arrive. Even though the fairies had hidden Aurora away, Maleficent’s magic was very powerful, and she had secretly planted a tiny, shimmering seed of curiosity in Aurora’s heart. On that very special morning, while her aunties were busy baking a cake and decorating the little cottage, Aurora felt a strange pull. A feeling like a gentle whisper in the wind, calling her to explore. "I'll just go for a little walk," she told herself, "and gather some extra berries for our cake." With a spring in her step and a song in her heart, she skipped off into the woods, waving goodbye to the friendly badger who was digging for worms near the old oak.She wandered deeper than she ever had before, past the sparkling stream and the sleepy willow trees. Suddenly, she saw something she had never noticed before: a winding, overgrown path, hidden behind a curtain of ivy. It looked ancient and mysterious, like a secret just waiting to be discovered. Her heart gave a little thump-thump of excitement. "I wonder where this goes?" she whispered to a curious robin perched nearby. The robin just tilted its head and sang a little tune, as if to say, "Go on, be brave!"Following the path, Aurora found herself at the foot of an old, forgotten tower, almost completely hidden by thick, thorny bushes. It looked like it hadn't been touched for hundreds of years. The windows were dark and dusty, and a rusty old door creaked open just a tiny bit, as if inviting her in. Aurora's curiosity grew stronger and stronger. She pushed the door open carefully, and it groaned like a sleepy giant. Inside, it was very quiet and dusty, with cobwebs hanging like silvery curtains. A spiral staircase wound its way up into the gloom."Hello?" Aurora called out, her voice echoing softly. No answer. She began to climb, her little shoes making soft pat-pat sounds on the worn stone steps. Up and up she went, until she reached a small, dark room at the very top of the tower. And there, in the very centre of the room, bathed in a single shaft of sunlight that squeezed through a tiny window, was a spinning wheel. Not just any spinning wheel, but a very old, very beautiful one, with a spindle that gleamed as if it were made of pure moonlight. And guess who was sitting at the spinning wheel? An old woman, hunched over, her face hidden in shadows. But this wasn't just any old woman; it was Maleficent, disguised! She looked up slowly, her eyes glinting in the dim light. "Come closer, child," she croaked, her voice like dry leaves rustling. "Have you ever seen a spinning wheel before? It’s a marvellous invention, perfect for making soft, warm cloth."Aurora, who had never seen such a thing in her life, stepped closer, her eyes wide with wonder. "Oh, no," she said, "what a peculiar contraption! How does it work?" The old woman smiled a toothless smile. "Here, let me show you," she said, holding out a delicate, pointy spindle. "You just touch the tip, like this…"And before Aurora could even think, she reached out her hand, full of innocent curiosity, and gently touched the tip of the spindle. Prick! Oh, a tiny little prick on her finger, no bigger than a pinprick. But it was enough. The wicked curse, which had been waiting patiently for sixteen long years, finally sprang into action.A wave of dizziness washed over Aurora. Her eyelids grew heavy, heavier than lead balloons. She swayed, a soft sigh escaping her lips, and then, down she sank, falling into a heap on the dusty floor, fast asleep. Not just a little nap, but a deep, enchanted slumber. The kind of sleep that meant she wouldn't wake up for a hundred whole years. Maleficent let out a cackle, a dry, raspy sound that echoed through the silent tower, and then vanished into thin air, her wicked plan finally complete.Meanwhile, back at the cottage, the three good fairies felt a sudden chill, a shiver down their spines. "Oh, no!" cried Flora. "My wand is tingling!" "And my fairy dust feels all fuzzy!" added Fauna. "Something dreadful has happened to Aurora!" gasped Merryweather. They knew instantly. The curse had come true. With frantic flutterings, they flew back towards the castle, their hearts heavy with sadness. They found Aurora, deep in her enchanted sleep, up in the dusty tower. The fairies knew they couldn't break the curse entirely – only true love's kiss could do that. But they could do something to help. They flew back to the magnificent royal castle, where everyone was preparing for Aurora's return. The King and Queen, the noblemen and ladies, the cooks in the kitchen, the stable boys with their horses, even the royal dogs and cats – everyone was bustling about, excited for the princess's birthday celebration. With a heavy heart and a wave of her wand, Flora cast a spell over the entire kingdom. "If Aurora sleeps for a hundred years," she whispered, "then so shall everyone else. When she wakes, she will not be alone." And just like that, with a soft shimmer of blue light, the entire castle fell silent. The King, mid-sentence, yawned and slumped onto his throne, fast asleep. The Queen, arranging flowers, gently closed her eyes and rested her head on a velvet cushion. The cooks in the kitchen, stirring soup, froze mid-stir, their spoons hovering in the air. The stable boys, grooming horses, nodded off, leaning against the warm flanks of the sleeping animals. Even the castle guards, standing tall and straight, leaned against the walls and began to snore softly. The dogs curled up by the fireplace, the cats dozed on sunny windowsills, and the little mice in the walls paused their nibbling, falling into a long, quiet sleep. The whole kingdom was covered in a blanket of magic and slumber. Time itself seemed to slow down inside the castle walls. Dust settled gently on everything, like a soft, silvery blanket. Vines began to creep up the castle towers, green and strong, winding their way around the sleeping stones. Flowers pushed their way through the cracks in the courtyard, their petals swaying in the gentle breeze, but no one was there to see them.Outside the castle, the world kept moving. Seasons changed, winters turned to springs, summers faded into autumns. Children were born, grew up, and grew old. But inside the silent, sleeping castle, nothing changed. The soup in the pot remained unstirred, the flowers unarranged, the royal guard forever standing at their posts. It was as if a giant, invisible bubble had formed around the castle, keeping everything inside perfectly still, perfectly quiet, for a hundred long years. And as the years turned into decades, a thick, thorny forest began to grow up around the castle. It grew taller and thicker than any forest anyone had ever seen, with sharp, tangled branches and prickly thorns that reached up to the sky. No one could get in, and no one could get out. It was a formidable wall of green, protecting the sleeping princess and her kingdom, yet also hiding them away from the world. People in the nearby villages would whisper stories about the "Sleeping Castle" or the "Thorn-Covered Palace," but no one dared to venture close. They said a beautiful princess slept inside, under a powerful curse.A hundred years is a very, very long time, isn't it? Imagine a whole century passing by, with everyone in the castle still in their places, still in their sleep. The world outside changed so much, but inside, Princess Aurora and her kingdom were simply... waiting. Waiting for what, you might ask? Waiting for someone brave enough, kind enough, and true enough to find their way through the thorny forest, break the spell, and awaken the sleeping princess. But who could possibly do such a thing? And how would they even know where to begin? What an incredible tale, isn't it? The princess, the curse, the sleeping kingdom, and the impenetrable forest. Will anyone ever manage to reach the princess? Will she ever wake up from her long, long slumber? We'll find out when we continue our enchanting tale.

The Brave Prince and the Magical Awakening

A hundred whole years had spun by, like a giant, slow-motion spinning top. The once-bright kingdom lay hidden and forgotten, swallowed up by the vast, thorny forest. The story of the sleeping princess and her enchanted castle had become just that – a story, a whisper carried on the wind, a fairy tale told by grandmothers by the warm glow of a fireplace on a chilly evening. Most people didn't truly believe it, thinking it was just a fanciful yarn to encourage children to go to bed on time. It was a tale of mystery and magic, of a curse and a long, long sleep. Will anyone ever manage to reach the princess? Will she ever wake up from her long, long slumber? Well, our enchanting tale continues right now. You see, the world outside the sleeping kingdom had not stood still. Kings and queens had ruled, children had grown up, and new stories had begun. But the legend of the sleeping princess, though often doubted, occasionally sparked a flicker of curiosity in the hearts of the truly brave and adventurous. The kingdom might have been forgotten by many, but its story held a powerful, secret magic.Far, far away, in a bustling town nestled between rolling green hills and a sparkling river, lived a young, kind-hearted prince named Frederick. Prince Frederick was known for his sunny smile, his brave spirit, and his incredible sense of adventure. He loved exploring, finding new paths in the woods, and listening to the old stories of his people. More than anything, he adored a good mystery. And the mystery of the sleeping castle, which he’d only heard fragments of, absolutely fascinated him. He’d heard hushed tales of a magnificent castle, so old it seemed to blend into the very earth, surrounded by a hedge of prickly thorns so thick, no one had ever managed to get through it. And inside, a sleeping princess, waiting for someone brave enough to find her. These whispers tickled Prince Frederick’s imagination. He’d spend hours gazing at old maps, tracing imaginary paths towards where the legendary castle might lie. He wasn't afraid of a challenge, and the thought of breaking an ancient spell filled him with a thrill that no ordinary adventure could. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he also knew, deep down in his heart, that if the princess was truly there, she deserved to be found. One bright morning, as the dew still sparkled on the grass and the birds sang their most cheerful tunes, Prince Frederick decided he simply had to see for himself. He packed a small rucksack with some tasty jam tarts and a flask of fresh apple juice, said a fond farewell to his mum and dad, and set off. He rode his favourite, trusty pony, Sparkle, a clever little palomino with a shimmering golden coat and the brightest, kindest eyes. Sparkle loved adventures almost as much as Prince Frederick did! They travelled for many days, across wide meadows filled with bobbing buttercups, over gentle streams where tiny fish darted, and through forests where the trees whispered ancient secrets. Prince Frederick kept his eyes peeled, hoping for any sign, any hint, that he was getting closer to the fabled sleeping kingdom. He asked farmers on their tractors, and ladies picking berries, and even the cleverest squirrels, if they knew the way to the castle surrounded by the giant thorns. Most shook their heads, or just chuckled, thinking he was telling a silly story. But Prince Frederick didn't give up. He just kept going, following his adventurous heart. Finally, after weeks of their exciting journey, they saw it. In the distance, rising high above the treetops, were the spires of an enormous, ancient castle. It looked like something straight out of a storybook, reaching for the sky. But around it, just as the stories described, was a towering wall of thorns. Not just any thorns, oh no! These thorns were as tall as houses, twisted and tangled like giant, angry snakes, their sharp points glinting in the sunlight. No path, no gap, nothing. It looked truly impossible to get through. Sparkle whinnied softly, a little worried, nudging Prince Frederick’s hand with her soft nose. Even the brave prince felt a teeny-tiny shiver run down his spine. He took a deep breath. 'Don't worry, Sparkle,' he murmured, stroking her mane. 'We came all this way. We have to try.'He dismounted, patting Sparkle reassuringly. The air here felt different, almost sleepy, as if the whole world was holding its breath. It was strangely quiet; even the usual buzz of bees and chirping of birds seemed muted, as if they too were caught in the enchantment. As Prince Frederick walked slowly towards the wall of thorns, a tiny, colourful robin, with a bright red breast, fluttered down from a branch and landed right on his shoulder. 'Cheep cheep!' it chirped, looking up at him with its beady black eyes. Prince Frederick smiled. 'Hello there, little friend.' As he took another step, something truly magical happened. The thorny branches, which moments before had looked so formidable and tangled, began to sway gently. Slowly, carefully, they parted, just enough for one person to squeeze through! It was as if the forest itself knew he was a good, brave soul, and was making a path just for him. The robin gave another happy 'Cheep!' and then darted ahead, leading the way. Sparkle watched from a safe distance, her ears perked up, amazed.Prince Frederick thanked the robin and stepped through the opening. The thorns closed gently behind him, leaving him in a quiet, shadowy tunnel formed by the briars. He followed the robin, who flitted ahead like a tiny, feathered guide. Soon, they emerged into a vast, overgrown courtyard. And there it was – the castle! It was even grander than he had imagined, but oh-so-quiet. The windows were dark, the stone walls covered in ivy, and a strange, deep silence hung in the air. Not a single sound could be heard, not even a bee buzzing or a leaf rustling. It was a silence so profound, it almost hummed. He pushed open a huge, heavy wooden door, which creaked a little bit, but not very loudly. Inside, the silence was even more astonishing. Everything was covered in a fine layer of dust, as if no one had touched anything for a hundred years – because, of course, no one had! He walked through a magnificent hall, where knights in shining armour stood perfectly still, their swords half-drawn, as if frozen in time. Their faces were peaceful, their eyes closed. They were all fast asleep! He passed kitchens where pots and pans hung silently, and a cook stood with a wooden spoon in his hand, mid-stir, a tray of biscuits half-baked in the oven. Even the castle cats were curled up, snoozing soundly on soft rugs, their whiskers twitching ever so slightly in their dreams. He saw a lady-in-waiting, asleep with a half-knitted scarf in her hands, and a gardener, asleep with his trowel beside a wilting rose. It was like a giant, beautiful, sleepy painting, stretching out in every direction. The little robin continued to guide him, flying ahead, sometimes perching on a dusty banister, sometimes on the back of a sleeping dog. Up, up, up they went, climbing a winding staircase to the very top of the tallest tower. Prince Frederick’s heart went thump-thump-thump in his chest. He knew, deep in his tummy, that he was getting closer. Finally, at the top of the tower, the robin fluttered towards a heavy wooden door, which was slightly ajar. Prince Frederick gently pushed it open. And there she was. Lying on a grand bed with silken curtains, was the most beautiful princess he had ever seen. She had long, golden hair spread out like sunshine on her pillow, and skin as fair as the palest rose. Her eyelashes were long and dark, resting gently on her cheeks. She looked so peaceful, as if she was simply dreaming the sweetest dreams. The little robin flew over and perched on the bedpost, looking from the prince to the princess, and back again, as if nudging him.Prince Frederick felt a warmth spread through his chest. He remembered the old stories, the bit about a brave prince and a true love’s kiss. He leaned down, very gently, so as not to startle her, and gave the princess a soft, tender kiss on her forehead. The moment his lips touched her, a magical sparkle, like a tiny shower of glitter, shimmered all around them. The princess’s eyes fluttered open. She looked up at Prince Frederick, her beautiful blue eyes twinkling, a little confused, as if she'd just woken up from a very long nap. 'Oh,' she murmured, her voice like soft music. 'I've had the most wonderful dream.'And at that very moment, all throughout the castle, the spell began to break! The sleeping knights gave a big yawn and stretched, their armour clinking softly. The cook in the kitchen blinked, wondering why his biscuits were still in the oven, and started stirring his pot with a happy clatter. The castle cats uncurled, stretched their paws, and let out little 'meow's. The lady-in-waiting finished her scarf, and the gardener picked up his trowel. Outside, Sparkle whinnied with delight. The air was filled with the sound of happy chatter, sleepy giggles, and the gentle rustle of leaves as the forest around the castle slowly, slowly began to change back to normal. The magic was gone! The princess sat up, a lovely smile gracing her lips. 'Who are you?' she asked Prince Frederick, her eyes full of curiosity and wonder. Prince Frederick, his heart full of joy, took her hand. 'I am Prince Frederick,' he said, 'and I believe I have found the sleeping princess.' The princess, whose name was Aurora, smiled even brighter. A hundred years had passed in the blink of an eye for her, but for Prince Frederick, it was a journey of brave discovery. The curse was truly broken, and the whole kingdom rejoiced with a joyful cheer. The prince and princess knew, in that very moment, that a truly enchanting adventure had just begun.
