Delete your account
You can delete your Sonacast account and its data here, without signing in. We send a code to your email to confirm.
Other ways to delete
- In the Sonacast app: open Profile and tap Delete account. It happens straight away, and you can hand child profiles you share over to a family member.
- By email: write to [email protected] from your account's email address. We handle requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in details, profile and settings
- Your child profiles and everything made for them, including audio
- Stories and songs you created, including ones you shared
- Listening history, progress, playlists and plan usage
- Family sharing invitations and memberships. Family members lose the child profiles you shared with them.
- Feedback, story reports and screenshots you sent us
Deleting your account cancels website and Google Play subscriptions. Cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple ID settings.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and invoice records, as long as Finnish accounting law requires (up to 10 years)
- Google Play and Apple keep their own purchase records, under their own policies
- Server logs that may contain your data: up to 30 days
- Database recovery copies: up to 7 days
- Crash reports: up to 90 days. Analytics data: up to 14 months
