Lyrics
The sun has slipped behind the trees, There’s just a whisper on the breeze. Our Pooh bear stretches, big and slow, Nowhere else he needs to go. He finds his honey pot is dry, And gives a little sleepy sigh.
Oh, soft bear in the hollow tree, As cozy as a bear can be. He rests his head, he’s safe and sound, With honey dreams all around. Close your eyes and drift away, To end a happy, yellow day.
His head is down upon the moss, He doesn't mind the wind that toss. The forest outside is dark and still, Over the valley and the hill. He thinks of friends and pots of gold, Wrapped in a warmth that won’t grow cold.
Oh, soft bear in the hollow tree, As cozy as a bear can be. He rests his head, he’s safe and sound, With honey dreams all around. Close your eyes and drift away, To end a happy, yellow day.
Dream of the Heffalumps far away, Dream of the games you will play. Dream of the honey and dream of the sun, Now that the day is all done.
Soft bear... (mmm, soft bear) Go to sleep now... (soft bear)
